Back to Sg

Airplane food - not fantastic - drank 3 cups of orange juice
Back to Sg - Terminal 1
People waiting to leave Sg, they are going back home too.

I thought no one would recognise me when I am back

Before I went to Guangzhou, people around me kept telling me how good the food in Guangzhou is.
I thought I would spend most of the time eating and grew so fat that no one would recognise me when I am back home

Apparently, this is not the case.

桌面?

I was using a laptop that was installed with the Windows operating systems in Chinese.
I asked a lady at the counter how I could connect to the Internet.
She told me to look for something orange in the 桌面:

So I spent my time looking at the 桌面 but couldn't find anything orange.
It turns out that their 桌面 refers to this:

Wanton Noodles

Wanton noodles.
Different from the Singapore kind.
Very nice! :D
7 rmb!

The Pau reminds you

Lesson #223: When in China, expected the unexpected.
Even the Pau can tell you to be safe and considerate.

大便书?

I was quite amused by this book.. and so I bought one online.

Singapore 香肠?

Why have I never seen it in Singapore before?
Of course I have to try it.
It costs 8 rmb for one stick.
It just tastes like the normal bak kwa/肉干.

Toilet sign

You mean you just do it here?

Need a boyfriend?

You can find one easily through the newspapers!

What kind of 饼?

What kind of 饼 is this?I also don't know.
I bought it because I saw lots of people buying it.
I thought it would taste good.
But I think it would probably more appeal to people who wants to build up their cheek muscles.

Metro

To most people in the world, when u mention the word 'Metro', everyone knows that you are talking about the public transport that connects people from one station to another.

However, when u mention Metro in Singapore, some people's mind will conjure up images of clothing

and some people may get hungry when they hear the word 'subway'

Guardian vs. Mannings

Guardian in Singapore vs. Mannings in China.
Same logos, different names.
Of course, I bought something from Mannings...
